Enjoy an easy evening and relaxed dinner before the safari journey begins.

Days 2–3 – Sigiriya & Elephant Safari

Travel inland to Habarana, gateway to Sri Lanka’s wildlife-rich Cultural Triangle region.

On Day 2, enjoy an evening tank safari where elephants are often seen gathering at dusk around the reservoirs and surrounding wilderness.

Day 3 begins with an early climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress before an afternoon jeep safari in either Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park depending on seasonal wildlife movements.

Continue to the Temple of the Tooth before overnighting in Kandy.

Days 5–6 – Udawalawe

Journey south into Sri Lanka’s dry-zone wilderness.

On Day 5, visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home during feeding time to observe the conservation rescue programme supporting orphaned elephants before their release back into the wild.

Day 6 is dedicated to a full-day safari in Udawalawe National Park, known for its open landscapes and excellent elephant sightings.

Days 7–8 – Yala National Park

Continue toward Yala, Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife reserve.
