What makes Sightseeing special.
Sigiriya rock entry is about USD 35 for foreign adults; knees and shoulders must be covered on the climb. Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura ancient cities need half a day each with a driver; bicycle hire at Polonnaruwa is popular but hot by midday.
Galle Fort is walkable in an afternoon with no entry fee to the ramparts. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy charges a modest fee and closes briefly during puja times around 6:30 pm.
