What makes Destination weddings special.
Civil registration for overseas nationals requires documents legalised in your home country and processed through the Sri Lankan registrar; allow six to eight weeks before travel, not a few days on arrival.
Most couples hold the legal signing in Colombo and the celebration at a venue in Galle or the hills. Beach ceremonies need tide and wind planning; April and August are popular but also the busiest hotel months on the south coast.
